Chela

Oh poor wee pot bellied Tank! I am laughing and empathizing with you all at the same time, as I too have experienced the fat puppy/food hog/midnight barfing syndrome. Labs are sneaky, but still the best!

Lisa S

I think that Labs and ducks are related...well, they both love water and both can eat until they can't stuff anything more down their nozzles! People are horrified at the force feeding of ducks in industry and I think that the people that do this are just stupid...give the darned things free range and they will do what Tank did...eat until they 'splode. (we had ducks, ask me how I know...) It is funny how Sasha does not do this. She could have free feed in her bowl all day and not touch it, but then she is only HALF lab...

*ROFL* Ohhh, i can see the hole thing in front of me. Don't even have to close my eyes!:-) The worst thing is, that he would do it again. But i wonder if you have learned the Lesson Lisa..........KEEP THE FOOD AWAY FROM TANK!!!!*GIGGLE GIGGLE GIGGLE*

In Denmark we also have a word for this vomit like you have. We call it Ulrik!!!:-))

Poor Pup! That sneaky lab sure paid for his misadventure, didn't he.
I don't think I could manage to turn a sick to his stomach dog into such a funny post. You've got the gift.

eeeeww.
I love the pictures of them all snuggled up - Oakley and Crockett did that when Crockett was a baby and I miss those days!

Sam

How dare he look so peaceful after keeping you awake! ;-) I'm tempted to say that I'm glad it all came out alright in the end, but that would just be toooo easy. Bwahahahhaa...

Lisa S

Yeah, Sam...BOTH ends. Urp.

Oh Lisa, I can completely relate! We have two beagles, and they can eat a Lab into the ground! We made a similar error once (well, it actually involved them pulling the 20lb bag of dog food off the counter!). Two dogs weighing 27 pounds and 32 pounds respectively managed to eat a total of 15 POUNDS of dog food. Ed could barely stand! We at least had the sense to limit their access to water. Two hours later, both of them are football shaped, but they want their dinners!

The best description of beagles as a breed I've ever read was "dogs who can eat 10 pounds of dog food and twenty minutes later, convince you they are starving to death."
