My supplier and I are standing shoulder to shoulder in the wind and snow of the waiting. Those of you waiting in the Sock! queue, this is what I heard today:
The container is due in Portland tomorrow; the weather forecast, 1” to 4” of snow. I don’t know how quickly I’ll get my hands on the sock yarn but I hope by the end of the week. But who knows, the shipment hasn’t been attacked by locust yet.
Hang in there with me, people. This has been a bumpy ride but I will fill my orders as soon as I can get my hands on the stuff.
I recieved my yarn yesterday. thanks so much, I LOVE it!!
I am sorry to hear about your MIL. Sounds like she was a great fun lady.

We haven't had snow yet in Seattle - it may be that the storm was overhyped in response to all the other storms we've had this year.
Very sorry to hear about your MIL. My thoughts are with you.

It's snowing here (just south of Seattle). Lets hope the snow comes north and misses Portland!

My thoughts are with you and your family, take care and no worries, more important to just breathe right now!

Ah Gee,I am sorry for your loss. I missed your posts about that. What day you had. Please give my sympathies to your husband.
What neat, warm hats ot get the mail though. Thought I would say hello from the snowy Oregon Coast. What a deal. I havent' seen snow in 15 years! It is just miserable cold here in North Bend, OR. Down to 32 tonight. It may snow tomorrow too. BRRR. Glad I am home tomorrow. I couldn't get down my slick driveway this AM. The 1 good thing about snow in this snowless part of the world. No one knows how to drive it it!
And I am going to order some more sock yarn. I can wait.. . I just gotta buy something to reward myself for getting through my dental ordeal today. The drugs were good Lisa. (g)Well, that is a good reason don't you think?
