I have loved that phrase for so long and never thought that it would pertain to me and my life, and yet I have adopted the idea that in MY life, pigs HAVE flown. I look out of my office window to the forest, home and gardens that have been manifested here and thank the Universe, every day. To honor what I know to be good fortune and hard work coming together, I knew that I wanted to dedicate this place to the notion of flying pigs.
I found this, last Fall but Rod had to find the perfect doohicky to allow him to install our mascot at the peak of the roof.
Finding that doohicky proved to be a long process but there is nothing like inviting a bunch of old friends up for a barbeque, to get the search honed in on something, eh?
This morning, the weather up here was finally good enough for Rod to go up on the roof, to screw the doohicky down, in the perfect spot.
Now, I can look out of the window of the office or the open door of the workshop, see this and send up a silent prayer of thanks.
Now then, about that Appaloosa stuff. We have taken orders for 279 skeins, which before the extra $150 brings us to $5022! When July 1st rolls around, Holly will pull the colorway from the site but you still have 5 days, including today, to place your order. What a ride. Thank you, Pig.
That pig is just too cool. Does it spin like a weathervane? :-D

What a wonderful emblem, and a great way to remind yourself. I'm just glad the man didn't fall off the damn roof. Have I ever told you I love your spirit?

Thank you, Laurie. (You would know about injured husbands, wouldn't you?) I guess that if anyone had been reading the blog, through the Prophane Industries phase and the Mom ordeal, they would know why I celebrate coming through this with my friend on the roof. :o)
